With poundcolor.com you can create color palettes each containing one or more color swatches, and then save the entire swatch as a bookmark. Once saved, you can just navigate using the bookmark you created to retreive your color palette. The swatches allow you to copy-and-paste the color values into whatever program you desire, and you don't need to have another application open for web development because chances are you already have a browser window open. Also, once you have a palette created you can email the web address to a friend or associate for sharing.

Each swatch in your color palette contains the hexidecimal and RGB color value in the bottom left corner. On the right side of the swatch is a toolbar that will be covered a little later. Below is an example of a color swatch.

This swatch has a hexidecimal color value of #266C80, and a RGB color value of (38, 108, 128).

The swatch toolbar appears on the right side of the swatch and is used to insert a new swatch, delete the current swatch, and to change the swatch's color. Below is a picture of a swatch toolbar.

• The green button is used to insert a new swatch to the left of the current swatch.
• The red button is used to remove the current swatch from the palette.
• The last button is used to change the color of the current swatch.

Saving the color palette you just constructed is very easy. Simply create a bookmark / favorite using your browser's interface and that's it! Most modern browsers have mapped a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+D) for this purpose as well.
